Produced in small batches in the foothills of the Huangshan Mountains, this beautiful Oolong has quite a story. Before the tea is carefully hand picked in mid June, the tea garden await the arrival of a tea-loving insect, the tea jassid, which nibbles the leaves. This produces the distinctive honey muscatel notes and velvet-like infusion, with a finish of sweet marmalade. Quingxin Da Mao Cultivar, oxidised 85%.
